As street after street blossoms with color, one might ask, "How much is enough?" This and many other questions that may arise from it demand thoughtful consideration to preserve both the free creative spirit of the artist and the rights of the public viewer.
The lessons of the past have helped us become aware of the value of murals in providing attractive surroundings. From them we have learned about the methods faced by the makers of murals throughout history. It is hoped that we may contribute to improve our environment by
creating murals through inspiration of ideas, knowledge of media, understanding of the art language, and sensitivity to the world around us. And, in so doing, perhaps we should be able to improve the quality of life for all.
